New years eve Nathan Philippe square Toronto

Right now I'm on a packed train heading to union station to celebrate new years eve. I commute daily but it's not always this bustling. I will upload a picture very soon of what I'm wearing. The sweater is from forever21, the pants are a gift, the legwarmers from Costco? I'm wearing them correctly so don't be afraid to follow suit. I'm soo hyped but I know I'm goin to have a major adrenaline crash I've been excited all day so happy new year!
I apologize that the lighting in this picture is so bad, especially since I pride myself on good photography. Fashion photography is also an aspiration of mine, although that looks a little dim right now. This is New Years Eve and I was having a friend over. I decided to take a picture so I could be a little vain and post something on Facebook.

Why I love this outfit. It's girlish and whimsical, something Betsey Johnson inspired. Although my really inspiraiton was an 80s throwback and obsession with purple today. And seeing that it is the last day of 2011 I wanted to rock one of the biggest trends of the year rainbow or colored jeans. I bought these at Zara's. They are also sold at H&M. The shirt is from Forever 21. It's one of the few simplistic t-shirts I have, but I love it because of the bow and it has a bit of whimsy. Exactly what I was going for, hence the white ribbon headband from God knows where. I'm also reading the latest issue of Flare, who is celebrating their 15th website anniversary. Yeah for them. My favorite magazines are InStyle, Elle, Marie Claire for fashion. Cosmopolitan is a guilty pleasure. Happy New Years'.

Live Love Laugh Dance

omg, really excited. So this year I made a New Years' Resolution not to make a New Years' Resolution. However one of my goals is to write a blog that entertains anyone who has an appreciaiton for fashion and movies. My name is Gigi and I'm a Canadian university student. I love fashion and aspire to be a fashion journalist. This blog is to inspire anyone who has the same aspirations and to show how fashion plays an everyday role in our daily lives (especially mine). I will also have a section for movies. I will review old movies, recent movies, teen and adult movies. I will also try to review new movies when I can scrounge together enough pocket change to spend my weekends at the theatre and not studying (the main thing us university students do or should be doing). I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I do. Feel free to comment or email me ellegen1@gmail.com. I will probably also set up a public Facebook page in the very near future. Welcome to livinglovinglaughingdancing.com. My main goal this year is to be a little more vibrant.
