An ambitious academic and a spoiled prince cross each other's path. Paige is an amibitious girl next door who wonders why her friends sell themselves short for romance. She has high ambitions to be a doctor and as she quotes to Eddy has always had to work hard for what she's had; but she doesn't know what she has coming. Life has a tendency to explode (like Paige's chemistry experiment) sometimes. Edvard, "Eddy" is a spoiled prince who spends his time philandering (Prince Harry anyone?) and sometimes shirks his royal duties.His next escapade Wisconson University after viewing a Girls Gone Wild commercial, but this prince in disguise is determined to win Paige's heart. **Check this out I go to University of Toronto in Canada and the scene where they are making out in the library is E.J. Pratt Library which I study in all the time!
Julia Stiles is talented (just look at her other works), but Luke Mably is a 3rd rate actor. The best friend I think is something most girls can relate to. The movie lacks an even partially dynamic plot. I think what makes this movie so lovable though is the never ending fairytale at the end. It's the same thing that hooked us with Cinderella. Who knew?

I just found out this movie was filmed at U of T :) I need to find time to watch it sometime :) Haven't seen it in a few years.
